At the start of the new training year, the Schäflein Group welcomes 25 new recruits in Röthlein and the surrounding area alone. The company is thus setting the course for sustainable growth.
It started with two days in a relaxed atmosphere at the youth hostel in Schweinfurt, where the new trainees were able to get to know each other and grow together a little by overcoming small challenges together. During tours of the various logistics halls around Schweinfurt, they were given their first insights into the operational business of the transport and logistics service provider based in Röthlein.
“I am particularly pleased that we have been able to recruit so many young people this year and fill all vacancies,” says Achim Schäflein, CEO of the Group. “For us, training is the first step in attracting future managers and therefore a key building block for sustainable growth. Especially this year, when there is some uncertainty in the economy due to the coronavirus crisis, we have set an example with our wide range of training programmes.”
On 1 September, a total of 40 apprentices started their careers at the Schäflein Group, Schäflein Truck Service GmbH and the Röthlein Logistik joint venture. Together, the companies welcome 21 prospective warehouse specialists, five warehouse logistics specialists, seven forwarding and logistics service specialists, two IT specialists for system integration, two professional lorry drivers, one office administrator, one commercial vehicle mechatronics technician and one dual student.
