Schäflein builds logistics centre in Leipzig

The Leipzig region is currently the industrial and logistics hotspot in Germany. Schäflein will also have a presence here in the future. The ground-breaking ceremony for the first construction phase with 14,000 square metres has already taken place. Completion is planned for the turn of the year. A second construction phase with an additional 10,000 m² of hall space is currently being planned and can be realised in the short term.

“The Leipzig site gives us direct access to the Leipzig-Halle industrial region,” explains Achim Schäflein, CEO of Schäflein AG. “The location is perfect. Our logistics centre is right next to the A9/A14 motorway junction and within direct sight of Leipzig Airport.”
